The end of another school year

Another year as a preschool speech therapist in the books. I love my job! Emphasis on love. I love the students and the teachers and assistants I work with. I love the school campus. I find purpose and joy in serving my students. This is my calling.

With that being said, it was a really, really, really difficult year. Around February, when Dane starting walking and being more adventurous, I noticed working full-time is a tredmenous challenge. Ok, maybe that’s a little extreme, but it was hard. I was exhausted on so many levels and I felt like I couldn’t keep up with everything outside of work. Like laundry.

I am elated that I will be returning in the fall with a part time contract. This is such a big answer to prayer. A huge weight has been lifted. I’m looking forward to fall but for now I’m going to enjoy summer with my boys.

Happy, happy, very happy summer!

Ps. how cute is my classroom? The building I was in is really old and I love it.
